Reflective Practice Group for Peer Mentors - Virtual MeetingHave you thought about becoming a mentor but haven’t yet taken the plunge? Are you unsure about the types of skills you might need, or the resources you might offer as a mentor? If you’re currently mentoring someone, would you like some additional guidance to ensure an enriching experience for you and your protégé?
Mentoring helps us grow as professionals and managers. Being a mentor lets us pass on knowledge, skills and resources to other fundraisers, build important networks, and strengthen our community. Jennifer Dettloff and Christopher Chantson, Co-Chairs of AFP Chicago’s Peer Mentoring Program, invite you to join a virtual reflective practice group to discuss best practices and skills of being an effective mentor. Attendance will be limited to 10 participants. This will be a cameras-on, participatory session. The reflective practice group is free, but attendees must be members of AFP Chicago in good standing.
