Luke's dedication to philanthropy began in childhood, from bake sales supporting the local homeless shelter to volunteer trips throughout high school and college. After earning his B.A. in American Studies and Community Health from Tufts University, he built a career in Massachusetts and Washington as a fundraiser, director, community organizer, and administrator, developing deep expertise in organizational strategy, leadership development, and campaign management. At CCS, Luke has managed campaigns ranging from $20 million to $200 million for nonprofit organizations across the Midwest. A Western Massachusetts native who now proudly calls Chicago home, Luke is also a passionate cook, baker, swimmer, hiker, and musician, and serves as President of the Chicago Smelts, Chicago's LGBTQ+ US Masters swim team. ![]() Anne Moore, CFRM
Director of Individual Giving and Philanthropy Operations, Northern Illinois Food Bank
Anne Moore joined Northern Illinois Food Bank in early 2019 as a Major Gift Development Officer and currently is their Director of Individual Giving and Philanthropic Operations. She helped launch the Food Bank's DEI committee and led the second phase of strategic planning for their DEI Pathway. Outside of the Food Bank, Anne serves as a co-organizer for AFP Chicago's White Fundraisers Advocating for Racial Equity affinity group and as a Program Committee co-chair for the West Suburban Philanthropic Network. Prior to the Food Bank, Anne worked as the Development Coordinator for Changing Children's Worlds Foundation in Geneva, IL, writing grants and organizing their annual fundraiser.
Anne has a degree in Anthropology and Sociology from Florida International University, Miami, She and her daughter live in St. Charles, IL.

Affinity Funds Senior Manager, The Chicago Community Trust
Christine Munteanu (she/her/hers) is a senior program manager for the Affinity Funds at The Chicago Community Trust.
In this role, Christine works with the Trust's Affinity Funds (African American Legacy, Asian Giving Circle, Disabilities Funds, LGBTQ Community Fund, Nuestro Futuro, and Young Leaders Fund) as a strategic thought partner to elevate and support their work. Christine was introduced to the Trust through the Affinity Funds, first as a grant recipient and then as a member of the grant making committee of the Asian Giving Circle.
Prior to joining the Trust, Christine worked at Northwestern University's Multicultural Student Affairs office, providing programming, advocacy, and advising for Students of Color, LGBTQIA students, and Native and Indigenous students. She also has worked at the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL), a national Asian American civil rights organization, where she supported anti-hate, education, and leadership programs. Christine continues to serve as the chair for the JACL Chicago Chapter's scholarship committee, and as an advisor for JACL Chicago's Kansha Project.
Originally form New Jersey, Christine has called Chicago home since 2008, when she moved to the area to complete a year of AmeriCorps Service at City Year Chicago. She received her bachelor's in neuroscience and behavior from Wesleyan University, and a master's in education in youth development from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Director of Individual Giving, Latino Policy Forum Carlos is a season fund development professional and a dedicated advocate for racial equity, known for his expertise in fostering inclusive philanthropy and building sustainable fundraising practices. His career has centered on aligning values and interests between people and the causes they care about. He excels at establishing long-term fundraising strategies within organizations and is a leader in the sector's efforts to make the fundraising profession more diverse and inclusive.
He brings his strengths in relationship management, communication, and analysis to his role as Director of Individual Giving at the Latino Policy Forum. Joining the Forum in 2024 as the first to hold his role, Carlos is spearheading efforts to build a comprehensive fundraising model, a strategic initiative to bolster the organization's mission and long-term impact. By managing and enhancing individual giving through innovative fundraising campaigns and donor engagement opportunities, Carlos is expanding the Forum's reach to advance equity, justice, and economic prosperity for the Latine community.
Carlos's journey in the nonprofit sector began during his time at DePaul University, where he gained valuable experience through multiple internships at various organizations, igniting his passion for social impact. Over the years, he has established himself as a dedicated leader in the fundraising profession, committed to advancing the field and supporting the growth of others. Building on his extensive professional experience, Carlos earned the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential in December 2022, underscoring his dedication to excellence and ethical practices in fundraising. This credential reflects his expertise and unwavering commitment to elevating his profession and empowering the next generation of philanthropic leaders.
Carlos has been deeply involved with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) since 2012 and served on the AFP Chicago Board of Directors from 2019 to 2025. During his board tenure, he launched the chapter's Latinx Affinity Group in 2020 to strengthen representation and build community among Latine fundraising professionals. Since its inception, the group has supported Latine fundraisers across the region by cultivating connection, collaboration, and visibility for underrepresented leaders in the sector. In 2024, Carlos served as President of AFP Chicago, advancing inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA) principles and helping to shape a vibrant, welcoming professional community. Today, he continues to volunteer with the chapter and support its programs and community.
A lifelong Chicagoan raised on the city's southwest side, Carlos finds strength in his community's resilience and diversity, which fuel his commitment to equity and inclusion. In his free time, Carlos enjoys traveling and hiking, exploring new landscapes and cultures that inspire his advocacy work and creativity. Through his leadership and advocacy, Carlos remains focused on building a nonprofit sector where diverse voices drive meaningful social change, ensuring fundraising and philanthropic serve as catalysts for equity and innovation. |
