Breakfast Workshop Series
IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access) in the Philanthropic Sector
Friday, June 14, 2019 | 8:30 am - 10:30 am
Kellogg School of Management,
Northwestern University,
Wieboldt Hall,
340 E Superior St, Chicago, IL 60611

Society has seen a significant increase in concern over issues of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA). Hear from three non-profit executives about the work they are doing within their organizations to drive IDEA and what you can learn from them about your own ability—and mandate—to affect change as a fundraiser.

Topics will include:

  • The challenges fundraisers face in light of funder requirements for diversity.
  • Our ability to influence our own organizations, through actions like recognizing unconscious bias and engaging allies for greater impact.
  • How IDEA strategy can align to support both productivity and culture.

Whether you’re well established or just beginning an IDEA initiative, you’ll find ideas and best practices to help you succeed.
