May Pop-Up Talks (FREE - members only)
Join in on the conversation!

Looking to exchange ideas in a world that is exponentially more challenging and difficult? Fundraising during a global pandemic is not an easy task. Join your fellow members at our two upcoming educational pop-up talks. Discuss shared experiences, best practices and walk away with several tools to use to solve your pressing work challenges during this ongoing uncertainty.

Tuesday, May 19th | 8:00-9:00AM
Topic: Managing and Managing Up While Working Remotely
Working from home can present certain challenges-especially if it is new to your team or to your manager. Join us for a conversation about what works and what doesn't in order to communicate clearly and advance your goals while working remotely. RSVP

Friday, May 29th | 12:00-1:00PM
Topic: Virtual Events
We know that event changes can be stressful and unclear for all involved, but you can still reach your event goals online by hosting a virtual event. For this Pop-up, we'll have a short presentation from Alex McDonald, Director of Customer Experience for TravelPledge as he shares the key steps to throwing a virtual gala, from finding the right technology to promoting your event to generating big donations. Join us for a discussion on how virtual events are a great fundraising tool for nonprofits and can be a great alternative when events are canceled due to extenuating circumstances. RSVP

Third Thursday is going Virtual, again!
Thursday, May 21st | 5:00 - 6:00 pm

We are excited about our second virtual networking event and we invite you to join us! This time, we'll be using Zoom breakout rooms. You can join a more structured, group discussion in Room 1: Donor-Advised Funds/Planned Giving or Room 2: Retaining Individual Donors After the Pandemic. Alternatively, if you just want to hang out and chat about whatever arises in conversation with other fundraisers, we have breakout rooms for you, too.
