Friday, October 1, 2021 1:00 - 2:15 pm CDT Shifting Behaviors Through Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access: A collaboration with AFP Greater Los Angeles County
Members: $20 Non-Members: $30
We are living in a moment of time where acts of performative allyship are at an all-time high. How do we shut out the noise and focus on the work at hand? How do we come together and begin to dismantle systems that don’t serve us? There are many approaches we can take, but we must start at the beginning and take steps together.
Join us for a first-ever joint collaboration with our colleagues from AFP Greater Los Angeles County. This peer-led workshop will be facilitated by IDEA Committee members from each chapter, and will include breakout sessions on three IDEA-related topics:
- My Experience as a Fundraiser of Color
- Managing Up: Fundraisers of Color and their Managers
- Power and Privilege: White Allyship in the Fundraising Space
We invite you to listen, learn and hold space for each other as we continue to heal and shift behaviors in this new era of philanthropy.
This program is approved for 1.25 CFRE points.
Registration is now closed.
