AAUW Online Negotiation Workshops
AFP Global launched a new partnership with the American Association of University Women (AAUW), offering free online negotiation workshops to ALL AFP members. Members can now participate in AAUW's Work Smart program, a one-hour online negotiation workshop, free of charge. The skills and knowledge provided in the workshop, while focused on salary and benefit negotiations, will help fundraisers in a variety of conversations-including talking with donors, making "the ask," and addressing tough topics with colleagues. learn more...

Lifelong Learning Through Peer Mentorship

Gregor Thuswaldner is a lifelong learner, with a distinguished career as a professor of German and linguistics. Following a 13-year tenure at Gordon College, in 2016 Gregor accepted the role of Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at North Park University. Along with this important opportunity, Gregor began pursuing a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, where - as part of a course on fundraising - he was introduced to AFP.  read more...
